The Catavolt Story
Catavolt's
founders have a long history of bringing exciting new innovation to the software
industry. In the midst of IBM's downsizing in the early 90's, a small group from the IBM lab
saw an opportunity to completely reinvent the architecture of ERP applications without
incurring the large costs of rewriting existing software. Forming a new company,
Paragon Systems International, this group pioneered an advanced client/server
architecture that would excite and delight its users for more than a decade. The
focus of this architecture was on the user experience. What they built is now known as the "Infor Development Framework"
and is still being used as the core business system by thousands of companies.
Catavolt was founded by key Paragon members to help usher in the next step in enterprise software. We've built a software architecture founded in the principles we established with Paragon, but built for the way the world works today. The result is patent pending technology that brings exciting new capabilities to today's enterprise mobility market.
